Advice Please!! - Offered Minty Tudor 1970 Oyster Small Rose - Full Set
Hi Guys
I have been offered this fantastic condition Tudor Oyster Small Rose. Its a full set with the box and original warranty card. - Warranty card and box are in excellent condition too. - No idea of the service history. - Case appears to be unpolished. - Original Rolex crown - Rolex buckle on the band. tudor.jpg The price is $1800 AUD ($1200 USD) What are your thoughts? I'm a bit on the fence with this one. I collect Seiko divers and omegas and I'm a bit out of my depth on Tudors. Looking forward to your advice. Cheers Dan |

Hello Dan, the price USD 1200 may be slightly at high side especially without the original bracelet. But it look like in pristine condition and full set, i think still worth to consider if your wrist can wear the 34mm. I have many 34mm vintage Rolex and Tudor and find them just perfect for my 6.75” wrist.

These 34 mm Tudors wear bigger than their size (I have three), and I'd say $1,200 USD is a very fair price for this with full set, especially with a genuine Rolex buckle.

You can easily pick up a 1970 bracelet for about $500 so no big deal on the bracelet. I think its a fair price with the original B&P.

Maybe use the lack of a bracelet as negotiating leverage and see if you can shave 10 or 15% off (especially with cash in hand if face to face) for what appears to be a very nice watch with box. If not, it's still a great example.
