SkyD over the BLNR since I have the latter already. However, if it came down to what I really want, I'd take a BLRO over the SkyD. I know the SkyD is harder to get blah blah blah but I genuinely would like to add a BLRO to the collection more.

Great Pic, how big is your wrist? I'm on the list for the Blue SD but think it might be to big for my 7inch wrist.

Between those two, I'd go SkyD. I have the original Batman and the I think watch looks better on the oyster bracelet. I recently put myself on a 'list' for a SkyD so maybe one day. SkyD definitely wears larger. My GMT probably sees the most wrist time in my collection, very versatile.

OP - what did settle on?

For me, I would prefer the SkyD since I have a SubC.

As a one and only watch for every occasion ... the GMT is a better watch. Unless you are in formal business and personal events more often.

Having said that, if I were given the choice between the two I would take the blue Sky. I love the look and I love how Rolex executed the annual complications on this design ... it’s genius!

I do love my BLNR jubilee but the Sky is at a different level. A lot of other watch manufacturers (Omega, Tag Heuer, and even companies like CW) have GMTs. But no one other than very high end manufacturers have a watch as complicated as the Sky.

Rolex GMT Master II or Skydweller?

EDIT: didn’t realize this was old post!!

Imo the BLNR is most overrated modern Rolex. People who like it love it, and if your one of them it is a solid watch. Personally, I tried it on (2016) and picked my SubC over it - and would so today (money aside). The skyD on the other hand is the most impressive Rolex made from a complications perspective. It is also stunning. The size had me on the fence but I tried one on at a local shop (non-ad). It fits and looks awesome. It is... hands down... my favorite Rolex made. I would trade my whole collection for one, but at gray prices, I can’t swing it.

I 100% would say SD.
