AP Polishing

hi guys,

I am thinking of polishing my AP ROO as there are some scratches on the bezel.

However, someone told me is better to leave it than to have it polished.

What do you guys think?

thx a lot for your feedback and comments.

cheers

Ultimately your call, but why not go for a polish if the scratches bug you - just get some before / after photos for the forum.

Depends on how you handle marks and how it affects your enjoyment, you can have 4/5 polishes with AP integrity so ration them out.

I wouldn’t have an AP polished with less than 5 years wear or unless I wanted to sell the watch and it would look better after polishing.

I kinda like the scratches on my Jumbo but I may be an outlier here. Why polish the bezel only to scratch it up again? Wait for service.

I wouldn't polish it just for "some scratches". I think a polish should be reserved for major wear over the years. Because how many polishes can a watch take before too much material is removed and the edges become rounded and correct shape is lost? Others probably can answer that better than me, but I would guess 2-3 in a lifetime?

I think AP for itself says that it can be done 2-3 times and I assume its written somewhere on the HP
