Speedy malfunction and question
Have an early 70's Speedy Moon watch in SS. Nothing amazing but a really cool watch.
So after twenty five years ( of 0 maintenance ) it began malfunctioning. It is gaining maybe 30 minutes per hour. If someone knows what broke I'd love to know but what I'd really like to know is Where/who in Los Angeles I can take it for repair and not have to worry about it. Watch is worn and used very often and while no show piece. I have grown very attached to it. Thanks in advance |

Jean at Vana Watches in South Pasadena services all my watches, including my Speedy. He's fantastic.

Some of the cities in the Mojave Desert include Las Vegas, the desert's largest city and metropolitan area, as well as Palmdale, Barstow and Needles, California, and dozens of smaller towns. It would be like finding Waldo. ![]()

The town nearest to me is a lot smaller than Needles.
I'll be the one in the stripped shirt, beanie and SS Sub. ![]() Thank you for the referral in Pasadena. Can go there and get my watch fixed. Alaskan King Crab at Camerons and Peach Cobbler just down the street from there. If I have to go down below. I'm making the best of it. ![]() |
