Had my first pour last night.
Really nice!
The glass is made from the bottom of old Wyoming Whiskey bottles.

Excellent taste! Favorite distillery. My bottle is running low Have you tried the others? Big fan of the last few years of their Distillers Edition. I used to like their 12 year cask strength release back when it was $80/bottle, but now that it's over $120 I can't justify it anymore. I also had their Game of Thrones edition 9 year- not bad, but it left me wanting the 16.

I've yet to try the 8 year bottling.

I have the 8 year, 2016 bottling for their 200th anniversary (almost empty). Going to pick up 12yo when I can find it. I might try a distillers edition as well.

Its on the sweet side but I like that. Almost seems a little syrupy but in a good way. Cinnamon, caramel etc. I like it a lot.

For me it has always been THE scotch!
The only prob here is that it retails for £49.00 a bottle and it goes so quickly!

€50 here, so a little bit cheaper. I think it is one of the best value bottles money can buy, top grade Scotch for a reasonable price.

Ardbeg 10 is my close second favourite, it is just a bit more complex than Laphroaig 10, which is worth the premium IMO.

Never had Batch 1.

Can’t comment on that one.

Batch 6 is by far my fav of the rest.

You're the one who initially enabled me to both buy my first bottle of lagavulin and watch parks & recreation

But if someone wants 6 unopened bottles I can trade them for a 116600 straight up.

And here I was carrying all 6 at one time...

Anybody tried the new Cream of Kentucky from Rutledge? It's not for sale in my state, but I found a place that will ship it for not-much-above MSRP. Not sure it's worth it, as there aren't many reviews on the stuff even though it's been out for a couple of months now.

I'm also still hunting for a bottle of Old Fitzgerald 11 year BiB that isn't $300... Might be waiting until the next release happens this spring, I guess.

One of my favorites and unfortunate it was discontinued. Glad you stocked up.

Cracked this open last night to bring some good luck as we are putting our house on the market. Grabbed this at MSRP so it must be lucky, right?

I tried Buffalo Trace last night for the first time and was not disappointed.
Comparing it to Jack Daniels, which I happen to like but is certainly not the gold standard, I found it to be a little smoother and a little sweeter than JD.
Bottom line...I liked it better.

There's a lot out there Angelo to explore, hope you keep looking cause if you like BT, I think that you'll find a lot of pleasure in some other similar offerings...
