Like you I have a 5500 Explorer which in my case was bought new in June 1965 - which means that I have owned it for 45 years and 9 months. Currently it is running within chronometer specifications.

Thanks! It's one of Mike Woods' collection, and the case looks brand-new. It's a 1971 Mark V dial, and came with the 93150. The only downside is the service replacement bezel insert, but that's not the end of the world.

Good luck with your quest.

My oldest is my A serial Explorer II - been wearing that one regularly since May 1999.

My newest is my GMT IIC which I bought in May 2010.

Looks like May can be an expensive month for me.

I had my first Sub Date back in 1971.

Since then, I have changed a few, my current being

the Sub 5513 / 0 since 1984
the GMT 16700 since 1993

I bought my Serti Sub new almost 12 years ago. Its never been serviced or detailed. Just a wash with diluted dish soap and the occasional rub down with a cape cod cloth.

This pic was taken last year...

I bought my DJ preloved 4 months ago & I should have done it years ago. When I think of the money I waisted on other things like food, mortgage, car payments it makes me sick...
