How long have you owned your Rolex

I'm new to TRF, it started with a question about my old explorer.
My question is how long have you had your oldest Rolex. Mine is a 1966 5500 Explorer I bought as a second hand watch in 1970 for £115. I have had the watch for 41 years I have worn it most of this time but had it refurbished twice by Rolex. I have an explorer 2 which I bought last year when the old one was away for 16 weeks being repaired.(I thought I'd had it for 45 years but I can't countafter 11pm)

May will be 6 years with my SS Sub 16610. That's the longest I've owned a watch.

My 67' Explorer was my dad's watch and he wore it everyday until it became mine. I've had it for 11 years now and he had it for 33 years without a service!

Finally when it just seized up two years ago, it got it serviced and it came back looking/working like new!

I bought my Explorer on September 22, 2008 and my DJ I picked up from the AD on September 8, 2010, after having placed the order about 10 days prior.

51 years...My fiancee and I went to T. Miyamoto Jewelers on Fort Street, downtown Honolulu, so she could buy me a 5512 as an engagement gift...She paid a little extra to have my name engraved on the back...I'm wearing the Sub as I type, and it's still running COSC...

Got my first in 1973, so about 37 years. Gave that one to a son and now wear my father's from about 1958-- among others I've bought more recently.

Well, if I include my Rolex Tudor 7928 I got it brand new in 1964. My first "all" Rolex is my Sea Dweller which I got about two years ago.

Got my firstTT DJ in about 2001. Between then and 2004 I bought a second TT DJ, an all black GMT-II, and a diamond dial YG DD. Still have all of them, plus the Breitling Navitimer Olympus, GP World Timer, JLC Master Geographic, Glycine Airman 9, and a couple others that I have acquired in the interim.

I have to say that I wear the GMT-II 90% of the time. Most of the rest of the time goes to the Breitling, and a smattering of the time goes to the rest.

Purchased my Air King Christmas eve '97. Just got it serviced for the first time a couple months ago and it looks brand new. I love this little watch!
