With the weak Euro, my guess is that Rolex prefers to supply ADs outside of the Euro zone at this time (e.g. a BLNR before VAT/sales tax in round numbers is $7100 in the Euro zone, $8300 in Switzerland and $8950 in the US).

you got yours for $7100? im going i a couple of months to europe. might pick up another rolex there

Since the introduction of the BLNR I only saw it one in the wild in the Nethelands.
Not that easy to come buy, and always full list even when buy it grey).

Do not forget that this forum is international, so actually not so many BLNR as you should expect to see hier.

I've seen one in the wild, apart from mine, and that was here in Singapore.

When I was back home in Cardiff at Christmas, I saw one each in the window of two ADs in the same shopping centre. Bizarrely, both were parked next to SubC LVs. Two days previously, I had an absolute pig's backside of a job trying to find my BLNR in London.

I've only seen two other SubC LVs in the wild; both on women and both here in Singapore.

I think it depends very much on geographical location.

There is no "rare" Rolex watch in Los Angeles and New York. I've seen everything from a 6239/0 to a 116576TBR, all while running on a treadmill at my gym.

I'm thinking of flipping a watch to buy a BLNR. It has really grown on me.

Me neither. Every time I ask it's the same old song... "It's coming but it's reserved already for a client".

It's not a rare watch, but it's not a common watch either. It's only been out for a few years so it's not going to have proliferated like some other models and I'd wager that over the years Rolex has sold many more Subs than GMT's. I've seen it around in AD's but not on many wrists - yet.

Many ADs in my region have them but keep them in the back (Daytona games). My AD had one in the case but wouldn't budge off msrp (understandably), so I went to Ontario and found several ADs with one, always had to ask never in case. 1 was willing to budge off msrp and I bought it. Also saw several in cases in Florida this past March,

A large grey market US on-line retailer has been offering the BLNR at $1000 over MSRP for a long time... recently I noticed they reduced the upcharge by half... only +$500 over MSRP.

Maybe none of the EU ADs have them because they sold all of their's to grey market dealers that take advantage of the pricing discrepancy caused by currency fluctuation?

The 2 hottest selling SS watches here (Vietnam) right now are the BLNR and the DSSD Blue.

I see both in the wild regularly as my friends wear them almost daily.

Just saw my first BLNR in the case at an AD (Crisson) in Bermuda. No discount, but tax free if anyone is looking for the AD experience and headed to Bermuda.

No kidding. Either way, I could care less if my Sub was rare. You see tons of black Porsches in LA, too, but I'd never consider buying a blue Porsche because of it. I just buy what I like.

Based on highly scientific research otherwise known as "my impression," I would say the BLNR and Hulk have dominated incomings on TRF this year.

For what it's worth, if anyone is looking for one in the Los Angeles area the Rolex store at Century City has one on their window.

My AD has 2 on display. One in the window and another under the glass counter.
This thread needs pics...

I live and work in the DC-MD-VA area and have not seen one in the wild. I don't mind it at all.

That's a great photo!

Still no BLNR at the AD in Colorado. Mine came from halfway around the world.

Go to HK. You'll see every other person on the street or subway sporting a Rolex. Ok... That's a bit of exaggeration but it's not hard to spot the LVC, BLNR, and Daytona.

I saw two in the wild at The Masters in Augusta. Otherwise only at my AD. They have had one in their case for a while now.

Not exactly. I can hardly find one in the local ADs although there are a few in the grey market. The price for the BLNR is still very rigid (no or tiny discount)in both ADs and grey market.

There's two people ahead of me on the Hyde Park list, and I wonder if I can give my spot to you now that have one? PM me?
