Many are grey dealer purchases. I have only seen one in the wild.

Saw one in the AD case at Caesars shops in Vegas. The sales girl was pushing it pretty hard. Even after I told her I was interested in the Smurf.

Saw two of them today alone, and a TT-Daytona, a Sub LV-C, a bunch of Datejusts & Dates, a Sea-Dweller, two Deapseas, a blue Black Bay and a blue Yachtmaster. That's what I noticed, anyways...and I actually stayed at the office all day & only went our for 3 hours at dinnertime.

Well they do say by many on forum that some modern day Rolex watches are rare, but perhaps that's just a internet myth, much like the other hundreds of Rolex myths around today.

They are not common in the wild but if you really want one you can get one. The TRF population is also a very self selected group.

Extremely false. Just because you don't like it. It's very popular here in the UK.

I looked for a BLNR last week at 12 different ADs, around Frankfurt/Germany and in Paris. None had one for sale, one AD had one that was reserved and several claimed to have a waiting list stretching to late this year. On the other hand, the first AD in downtown Geneva I went to had at least three for sale, including the one that is now on my wrist

With the weak Euro, my guess is that Rolex prefers to supply ADs outside of the Euro zone at this time (e.g. a BLNR before VAT/sales tax in round numbers is $7100 in the Euro zone, $8300 in Switzerland and $8950 in the US).

So, if you live in the GMT time zone, what do you set your GMT hand to?
