As a big wristed guy the 5711 (and 5712) wear somewhat small - the aquanaut less so, and the 5164 is ever so slightly bigger and thicker and wears bigger than 5711 or 5167. Agree that the aquanaut on rubber strap is extremely comfortable.

Nautilus. I'm no fan at all of the Aquanaut.

Most members would say the 5711 hands down. It's the original and venerable Patek sports watch. However, I've spotted far more aquanauts in the wild than the nautilus. You can get the aquanaut 5167 on bracelet too.

Going against the majority on this one, I stayed with my Aqua after having chances at both blue and white Nautilus from AD. Couldn't have 2 models with identical movements and the comfort, the hands and Arabics on the Aqua dial sang to me more.

Nautilus then Aqua. Both are stunning in thier own way. Nautilus has more a formal look. Aqua has slightly less formal.

I fancy both in my collection that I have started to consolidate in preparation.
I finally seen both in London and was not disappointed however.. I thought the 5712 (complication) would complement the simple dial of the 5167a however I also saw the 5164 which I preferred over the 5167! Now im stumped, guess 5711 and 5164 maybe is my path. |

I know the 5711 is more iconic, but I love the lume and visibility of the Arabic numerals on the 5167. The tropical rubber strap is pretty damn comfy too. Also in the back of my mind I knew I was going to get an AP RO, so I didn't want to overdo it with the stick dials.
I think there´s only one right answer.
[IMG]https://abload.de/img/20160610_1551007uulx.jpg[/IMG I wasn't a fan of the 5711 but it grew on me. Now I have to have one. That blue dial is sexy as hell. |

I had both 5711a and 5167a but let the Aquanaut go as it was too similar to my 5164a.
