Mickey,
Those pics that you sent me of your new GMTIIc had me drooling.........I had to get my Bubba brand bib out of the drawer.... Very nice pictures of your new acquisition.......... I bet you're pretty darn happy with the purchase.........we'll have to get our GMT's together to see if they'll breed......... there might be a quid in it.... By the way, what sort of camera did you use to take those pictures. I was just wondering as I have a Canon IXUS 60 and was hoping to take a few half decent macro shots of my new watch when I bring it home. Michael |

Congratulations Michael! You have two of what are, in my opinion, the two most beautiful Rolexes!
I want a GMTIIc so bad... one day...

Nice!!..
You'll find that the GMT and the Sub are very different on the wrist. Others may not...you definitely will know the difference between being in a sub mood, and a GMTc mood....and your SMP should find it's way into the rotation too. ( I have all three as well) But... I suspect that within the next two weeks, you start to get an itch for your next one...looks like an elegant DJ with silver face might balance out your collection... |

MD, Very nice.... Those are both great watches. I love the GMT. I love to use the second timezone on the fly as I run an international division for my company. The second time zone is key. I look at my GMT and it just amazes me. Normally, Sunday is Platinum Yachtmaster day for me... However, I am going to where GMT IIc today in honor of your new family member.
Best,

Congratulations Mickey. It's a beautiful watch and you sure took great pictures of it. I hope we get an opportunity to meet each other in person and we can show off our GMT's together. Yours SS, mine TT.
Both of your watches look great. Have a lovely day in the Land Down Under. Your Pal, Terry Newton

BIG CONGRATS MICKEY
Glad you came out of the closet with this one ( sorry guys, private joke) I picked up my GMTIIc 5 days ago, so we're sort of like brothers maybe even twins, (but I'm the good-looking one ) I was also going to add a Sub to my new collection (currently only the one Rolex!), but I think I will have to get a Daytona now, just so you don't think I'm watch-stalking you Cheers my friend, look forward to our next chat.
