Hiya fellow TRFers.... thought I would share my GMTIIc with y'all!!!
..... I am new to Rollies.... and just earlier this year I bought my first, a sub date. Then, all was well with the universe until.......... a fellow TRFer told me that he will be selling his IIc to fund another purchase..... and the rest is history.
This GMT is awsome man!!! All the updates (you guys know them all, but for those who don't.... the 'fat' case, updated movement, maxi dial, ceramic bezel insert, bezel movement, solid centre links, new clasp.) I do love my sub date.... but recently the GMT has been getting all the wrist time...... I wonder why?!?!?!? Mickey |

Great pics of a great watch, Mickey.
You happy = me happy. BTW, judging from the carefully preserved box, tags, cloths, bezel protectors, etc., you are just the kind of nut case (like me) that belongs on this forum. |

That's amazing mickey! I'm stoked about your new purchase. I coud've sworn that an SD was next on your list, but if a GMTIIc came my way I'd get on it too. Congrats, and enjoy your new watch

Nice watch Michael! I picked up a TT about a month or so ago now which I absolutely love! After seeing pictures like these though I often find myself wondering if I would have preferred a SS. Maybe what I need is both!
Anyways thanks for the pics! I love seeing different pictures of my favorite watches! |

Thanx guys..... yep...... I am super pleased!!! My sub holds some wonderful memories..... so I will def keep that baby. My love for watches gives me hours of pleasure and always puts a smile on my dial...... A friend recently said to me that 'all it does is tell the time'.... and I replied.... 'Yup, but I wouldn't really mind if it didn't even do that!!!!!!'
:-) .......... man I enjoy TRF and being in contact with all you guys.... Here's to y'all that know what I am trying to say but just can't articulate it in the above words!!! |
