Yep...especially if you bought it right. Bought mine over 2 years ago BNIB from one of our trusted sellers!

So even if you cannot get one at your AD, they should be close to retail soon with Trusted Sellers or TRF members selling theirs. From what I am gathering it should be very soon.

I guess the SD43's are starting to really come in to the ADs. So if you are on a list, it may not be that much longer waiting.

Daytona C's on the other hand are still strong with no sign of falling. So that is still an issue.

I am sure many here are aware of this but for those who are not, I thought I would just share that patience will pay off soon on the SD43.

On another note, I am looking forward to getting my BLRO today in Orlando.
These never were going to be hard to get. Daytonas coming in fast now as well in many locations.

In the end rolex is about selling watches and not making buyers $$$.

That is why it has sat there unsold for a long time, that price is too high.

This is true too. Secondary numbers on Daytona C are falling.

It's not as hard to acquire as people think.

They'll be lots of 'gently used' SD43's on the market once the honeymoon period has waned for the 1st time buyers.

Every time someone posts a picture of it looking huge on their 6.5 inch wrist, assuring some OP how comfortable it is and how it "wears so small", I see a flip in at least one of their futures.

On Chrono24, the cheapest a month ago was about 14,000. Now there are a few under 13,000.

Not sure where you're seeing prices "dropping pretty fast". Most recent ones seem to be selling in the low $12K to mid 12 range.

Really? When I spoke to them, they indicated they knew someone who had one and would make a strap using that one, not having to buy one. But the time frame was after the first of next year. Oh well...

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you didnt pay MSRP. MSRP is $11350 and it looks like they will be below that soon.

GOOD NEWS
As with the Daytona C, BLNR, D BLUE...etc,,it means those of us that want to purchase the watch to wear and keep it - will get the watch quicker

Half the people on the list (London) are just on these lists to walk out of the store and put on Ebay etc,,,flip

An AD in London with a list of 40 customers for the BLNR,,,example
Probably 20/40 will wear the piece

Am I right ??

USA - a different situation

Next up on the same playbook, SS Sky Dweller.
This is hardly surprising with the SD43 but, to my simple mind at least, I can't see the same thing happening with the SS SkyD. It's quite a complicated piece and I can't see Rolex punting these out of Geneva by the truck load. Just my 2c/1.5p

Why Not? Look at the ym 2 or pm sky d prices compared to msrp.

I don't think this is that unrealistic.

The 116600 was going brand new for $7500 earlier this year from trusted sellers. The MSRP of the 126600 isn't that much different (right?)......SD is always a hard sale, not many justify the extra change between it and the SubC, therefore they become about equal on the secondary market. Not to mention, that was when the SD was 40mm. The size of this one is going to take a ton of buyers completely out of the equation from the get go.

If this SD follows suit like the previous, that's going to be a tough pill to swallow if you paid $15k for it in the past couple months
