Seems to me if you had your choice of those watches that the Patek should be available to you too as this seems like VIP stock, not walk in customer stock. Or is this not an AD? You really shouldn't have any trouble sourcing the aquanaut if you have a good relationship with your AD so i would still push for the aquanaut (whichever version you like the best).
you would be correct but unfortunately i am not a customer of gearys nor patek...i came across the aquanaut visting patek it was on showcase not "hidden"

aquanaut i saw at the AD looked black to me....then again indoor lighting makes things look different

to me i see black. I don't see the anthracite as much as others do. I would describe it as a black dial watch, i know neil describes his as not black. So i think it depends as everyone does see color slightly different. I would call my 5990 grey.

Brown though, thats a new one
