if you like it i would buy it. You haven't even told us that part and IMO thats the important part. I wouldn't get into watch speculating/flipping if you are not knowledgable on the brand.

the 5168G is probably harder to get. It is here anyway. Great watch though but for that money i would get a 5164 instead. Its still a black dial but the added complication and thickness makes it wear a little better.

Same here. An Aquanaut in a bracelet? Not my cup of tea. Should be in a rubber strap. Nice to see that 5164a is gaining more respect. And glad to see also new complication for the Aquanaut. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like the date and time only 5167 and I will highly recommend the aquanaut, be it rubber strap or bracelet. They are difficult to come by nowadays. You are lucky that it is available and if price is right, I will buy it immediately

It's really a grey dial most of time except in low light when it goes black, if that makes any difference. That's a tough one to let go.

Aquanaut isn’t really a big profit flip. I’d get it if you want it but really the market for it isn’t nearly like the 5711. After taxes you probably will break even or make maybe a grand tops. But if you like it then it’s a no brainer.

https://www.rolexforums.com/showpost...83&postcount=1 Seems to me if you had your choice of those watches that the Patek should be available to you too as this seems like VIP stock, not walk in customer stock. Or is this not an AD? You really shouldn't have any trouble sourcing the aquanaut if you have a good relationship with your AD so i would still push for the aquanaut (whichever version you like the best).
