IT'S HERE!!!
I know the Postmaster from a civic group and he knew how bummed I was when it didn't show up yesterday. Gave me a call at 6:30 AM and said that it was there and that he would let me in the back if I wanted to come and pick it up. I've been wearing it all morning and just snapped a quick picture of it with the rest of the herd. Logo is shown with my TAG Link Chrono, Omega Seamaster, the Sub, and my daily beater that I purchased new in 1993 and has been going strong ever since-a Victronox Swiss Army. Shoot... Trying to post the pics and it is asking for a URL. I'm not savvy in the ways of posting pics-anyone out there able to walk me through it, or can I email someone my pic? Man, this thing is SWEET!! The only problem is I thought it would pacify me until the 221 arrived, and all it has done is make me want it more!! |

Glad you got it. You know I can always buzz over to that dealer for you. They know we well. OTOH maybe that would hurt your relationship with them...
They have some IWC"s that I like but the watchmaker doesn't have them high on his list. He's partial to the Rolexes and Langes. Not much of a Patek guy either. Says the finishing is great but they don't run well. I wasn't gonna buy one right away anyhow. |

Congrats Dave... enjoy the passion, as Daren said. It's really quite something to wear one. A month into my ownership and I still have a (more) goofy grin on my ugly mug.
But look at this thing... how could you not love it? |

Cripes! The image is HUGE! How do I resize?
Jeez, it looks like I just dug them all out of the trash-I should have taken the time to polish them up-that is what you get for being in a hurry... |

She's a beauty.
You do the same thing as me, forget to wipe the finger prints off before snapping a picture How did you control yourself and actually take it off long enough for a picture?

It was tough taking it off, but I couldn't fit all of the rest of them on my wrist at the same time-I don't know how those guys selling gen-u-ine Rolex's on the street corner do that...
It's back on to stay for awhile now-at least until the 221 shows! |

Awesome Dave!
Which one is after the 221? Power reserve, Radiomir, GMT? Enjoy it!

It'll have to be the Power Reserve-I like the style of it. It'll be a while though-the wife is still getting over the fact that I have spent close to $10,000.00 on two watches, and she hasn't even seen the Omega Seamaster automatic that I brought home tonight.
I hate a good deal... |
