Congratulations and Happy Christmas.

Do you mind sharing the Showroom/AD details, I live in the Raleigh, NC area and plan to buy a Rolex in near future or at least get on the waiting list if possible.

Nice watch, do the gloves help when you’re on the track?

Congrats! It's beautiful. Maybe I'll try that approach instead of hoping they'll read my mind.

Wow, congrats.

Is that your full purchase history with your sales guy?

I’ve bought 2 previous SS Rolex from my AD and I’m on the waiting list for a SS Daytona for 2 years now... I guess that is normal, right?

Yes, my complete sales history with him (and the store). I live in a neighboring state, so I have actually only met him in person twice. Once when I went in to pay half of the DJ41 deposit — and on that day I was offered the BLNR Jubilee. Them today ... I made a special trip (about 2 hours drive) for the Daytona. All of the other watches where shipped to me to avoid state sales tax. Obviously on the Daytona, I paid state sales tax.

Wow, that’s a very quick turnaround on all of your watches... I’m close to giving up on waiting for a SS Daytona :-(

Enjoy the watch, it’s beautiful.

Does that mean an AD in another state will never ship a Daytona to you?

Rolex does not allow any AD to sell to someone who does not enter store physically. I had to drive to store to make the payments. But for my DJ41 (that I ordered) they shipped it to me when it arrived to the store (4 1/2 months later).

Congrats. I think a GMT and Daytona make a perfect pair, the DJ is extra toppings! I asked for and received black dial on my 116500, not everyone prefers the white.

Thanks for the information. I purchased my first Rolex (DSSD) from an AD in another state and they shipped it to me. I had some jewelry purchase history with them before but never been to the store myself.

Congratulations! My will also AD will ship a DJ out of state, however will not ship any SS out of state. He mentioned that it is per instructions from Rolex.
