58 days later I got “The call” ... Daytona
I never thought I would be considered for a Daytona, so I have never asked. Then October 26th I casually told my salesman (almost in a timid voice), “could you put me on the list for a Daytona?” I expected the response to be laughter. Instead, he asked,” white or black?”
My response was either ... I love them both. Let me clarify that last statement, I love the pictures I have seen of both because I literally have never seen a ceramic Daytona. Yesterday, I got The Call and today I am wearing this 58 days after I asked...  My Rolex family (all purchased new through my salesman in July, September, and now December). Congrats! You got the right one IMO. Having seen both in person I prefer the black and feel it’s much more versatile. To each their own, but black would be (and was) my choice!

Congrats. I’m jealous as it’s been 4+ months for me. Just as you did, I expressed no preference between black and white dial. Realistically, would like white better, however, didn’t want to risk not getting either.

Congrats! What a wonderful Cristmas surprise! Awesome trio in the picture! How does it wears/feels on the wrist compared to the DJ41? IMO it should feel very similar (DJ41 being in fact 39.5mm).
