I prefer the JC especially because I consider it unique and probably extinct soon. So why not get something just a few has...

This is a tough one. Prefer bluesy’s dial & bezel over JC’s, but the overall impression of the watch would make me choose the DSSD. A difficult choice.

First of all, since when there is a wait list for Bluesy??

I don't frequent the forum for a few months and now two-tones are also on wait list???

Secondly,
you are asking between what I think are two of the most beautiful blue dials that Rolex has done. You can't go wrong with either one.

If the thickness of the watch is not an issue, and if you are going to be using it and not babying it... then JC is a perhaps a better choice since you already have a two-tone for dressy occasions.

But you will come back and buy the bluesy later on, so really this discussion is a moot point.

I agree, very unique and scarce. I’ve seen the Bluesy quite often at ADs across the US and the world but have never seen a DSSD-JC . The first time I actually saw the JC in the flesh was when my AD called and offered it to me lol.

Although I like the bluesy better, you already have a TT in your collection, so go DSSD.

the updated JC is the perfect modern Rolex. The push it to extremes highly innovative tool watch that Rolex was founded on.

I've been looking at possibly replacing it as a daily beater with everything from the platona to WG skydweller and RG GMT but I really don't like them as much as the JC DSSD.

7 inch wrists here. Had the bluesy. Traded it. Have the JC. It’s going nowhere.

Beautiful watch! Unfortunately, I never seen one in person.
I just thought of it as "SUPER" Submariner, I mean it could go 3,900m under water. But what's other unique factor that I am not seeing? Dial color?

I'm not a black and stainless person but the JC has enough blue I'd consider it. Love my Bluesy. Tough call there.

For large wrist farmer, jc.

If you are nearing retirement and want a little bling, bluesy

I own a JC for collectability, but I don't get it. My wrist is plenty big to pull it off, but it still feels like a hockey puck every time I wear it. Try one on first.

Given that you already have a tt, I'd lean towards the JC. However, I'd make sure I try it on for a good bit before deciding. The size, particularly the thickness, can be off-putting to some so I'd make sure I find it wearable.

This wears surprisingly well for your wrist size. Wouldnt have expected it to look as good as it does

Both are beautiful. I would pick the size I liked best, they wear quite different.

I love my JC.

My buddy has a bluesy and says the JC is too chunky, I love it. They fit very differently, I suggest trying both on, especially the JC before making your decision.

Go JC....the Bluesy is a pimp watch. Get an Escalade with 24" wheels to match:-)

You'll love the JC. Hands down.

Bingo. Same for me. 7.25” flat wrist and always had TT. I’m sticking with DBlue. And who says it won’t fit under a cuff? You did it. Just has to be the right cuff.
