Congrats! I have had good service from them as well. Still on the list and hopefully it’s my turn soon. What a collection!

How would you compare the comfort of the 116519 vs 116500? Thanks!

Huge congrats! Did the AD let you keep your warranty card and let you peel the clear protective stickers off the watch? Enjoy it in the best of health.

116519 is better in every way honestly but it’s not a good daily beater, the OF lacks give to adapt the wrist size change during the day, sometimes will leave your wrist some deep makes from the air cushions underneath, the metal is fragile compared to SS. However, it really shines particularly under natural lights and the weight makes SS like a toy. A large reason why I didn’t feel as excited as I thought is because of the weight. After getting used to PM it’s hard to go back “once u tried black u can never go back” right

Nevertheless, the 116500 is a great piece, there’s no doubt about it. Realistically speaking if you can get it at retail, it’s a no-brainer, 100%. But due to some unspoken reasons it’s rarely to come by at retail, at market price I’ll think TWICE before I make a move, just add a few k and buy the OF Daytona, if I had to choose I’ll take the 116519 any day.

Nope, I’m a long time customer that can’t drop big bucks on them cuz I’m also a big speedy guy and paneristi so my spending power on Rolex is somewhat limited. That’s why I’m so surprised getting their call, I was friendly with them and keep popping up to chat from time to time but I didn’t think that’s sufficient for obtaining the 116500.

I only have the honor of peeling the plastic on the back but then they took the watch and peel off everything else so there’s not much of fizz like the time when u peel off the plastic from your new iPhone

Extraordinary IWC watch! Love it!

Congrats for your Daytona C as well! You should have asked your AD, how much interest he earned on that deposit for over 2 years!

Hmmmm, they are different watches, one pretty much goes with every scenarios while the other is just sporty, but so far I think I’m more comfortable with the 26470io because the 116500 is still brand new and waiting for her first mark of life. But maybe because I do have the tendency on preferring watches with strong characters, I think the 116500 is a little too “normal” if you know what I mean. It’s a good piece if you are considering about settling for “THE ONE” but we all know that’s probably not gonna happen on guys like us

Both great watches and not compatible, if u really want me to pick one, I’ll stick with my 26315st, which was on my wrist when I took this pic that day
