I bought mine at the age of 13 when I made my first $1M with my Snapchat trout fishing channel.

That was last year and this week I celebrated my 14th birthday by trading it for a turquoise OP. I have a great friendship with my SA and I only had to add an extra $35K to seal the deal.

It's the same watch and both pics taken within about 2 months of each other. You can actually see a small hairline scratch at the 10:00 lug right at the end in both pics. I bought a new bezel insert at the RSC. The all brown is what I received the watch from my Dad with, and the half and half is appropriate for the stainless and gold version, 1675/3. The all brown is actually for the all gold 1675/8 and mine was definitely scratched and dented. Rolex would not sell me an all brown one because it is not supposed to be on this reference but is period correct. The new insert is not period correct and is is for a 16753 reference with an updated movement and quick sync date function. That said, the RSC does not have the period correct version anymore and on other sites they are crazy expensive, especially for NOS. This insert is not just good, it's good enough.

On another note I'm 55 but probably don't really count for this poll because it was a gift. I suppose I could have sold it at some point. My Dad thought I did for a very long time… Hahahaha! "How old are Root Beer owners?" Makes it sound like we're some kind of strange group of cantankerous old F's that are so out of touch with current fashions that they might still drive a Pacer or covered wagon or something.

Had a 16713 root beer in my 20’s and went full YG on a jubilee in my 30’s and traded it in a bulk trade in my 40’s and wish I kept it. Reality is my wife hates it when I wear YG apRG anything so I wouldn’t get one now although I love it! I’m 50.
