Curious what size your wrist is? I used to think I preferred the 26240 but the proportions of the 26715 look nice too.

…and honeymoon is over. The watch out of the blue stopped working. Chronograph no longer activating, and small second not spinning. Tried to rewind, which didn’t do anything. When I unscrew the crown, and move the minute hand, the small second turns again for ten seconds, and stops again.
What a Fall from heaven :-/ |

So sorry to hear OP but try and keep the faith. I only wore my AP Diver for perhaps a few months (longer than your experience, I appreciate!) before I needed to have a complete warranty service completed. Thankfully it has been perfect since (and for a good 6-7 months now). Clearly not the experience you’d want but unfortunately these things do happen from time to time. I hope you get a speedy repair sorted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Pretty much describes the disbelief I felt when I noticed this over dinner. Thank you for your sympathy! Quote:
As I’m in London rn, I though about stopping by the AP house and ask them to have a look, but probably better to leave this with the boutique I originally bought this from. |

Classic AP story.. albeit it happened even faster than it usually does! Sorry OP, you are definitely part of the "club" now. Welcome!

I love your Energy.
Congrats on the beautiful ROC! Don’t worry about whatever went wrong - it happens with Rolex & Patek aswell. AP gives great warranty coverage and I’m sure they’ll sort you out in no time. Don’t forget to post the freebies if you got some (it’s tradition around here) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congrats on a great 1st from the brand. It's a bit unfortunate but somewhat regular with AP for issues like this. They're usually on top of making things right though.

I do hope they will sort things out, handed the watch in today, and the boutique will ship it for a full revision. I‘m a bit paranoid about the state in which I’ll get it back, whether they only exchange parts, or the whole movement, but I guess I’ll just have to ride this out. I’m concerned that the wheel train is damaged and that the interlocked wheels may have caused further damage, as the watch was fully wound, let’s see. Quote:
Thank you - I fully agree; I‘m afraid I’ve become a hopeless fan of the brand, hopefully, they can fix the issue, and the after sales support follows suit with how my experience had been so far Thank you, I really think that 38mm is the perfect size for most, it wears more like a Daytona in size. |

The boutique were very nice, took the watch in and I felt they were genuinely sorry for the inconvenience, I hope that they can return the watch swiftly to former glory. I’m a bit concerned as the malfunction appears to be a major one, faulty wheel train, but as they will conduct a full service, hopefully this can be resolved. I would expect from AP a very diligent and well cared for service, hence, anxiously awaiting the return. Bit of a bummer that I won’t have the watch for the holidays still though :-/ Notwithstanding, the team is great, and also gave me some cool swag to take away as an early Christmas gift, which I certainly did not expect, and found very kind and caring: |
