The sub is great, but I flipped mine for a Daytona. My sub was a P series two tone though, and it wasn't getting worn. Both are great and I thought about the sub c, but I have always wanted a Daytona. Absolutely love it.

If I had to have just one...it would be a white dial Daytona, no contest. The black dial on the Daytona is a bit more formal and tough to pull off as casual in my eyes. The white dial Daytona is very versatile.

This one is easy for me- Subs are a dime a dozen, I have seen one Daytona in the last 5 years

I have both and prefer the Daytona but the Sub as a daily wearer makes more sense.

Difficult decision.
I take it you mean the SubC. My choice between the two would be the Daytona.

Tough choice as they are both great, I traded my SubC for a Daytona, mostly because it felt more comfotable and wears a bit smaller.
But ever since I did it, I have been looking for ways to get another one... So like most people, it is not either / or, it is which one to get first.

Nice but that's a SubDateC not a SubC.

I hope the OP has decided by now. He posted this three years ago. If not, that's some serious indecision!

This is now more an educational thread. Sub-C = no date = 114060. Subdate-C + has date function = 116600.

They are two very different watches, hard to compare. I own both, prefer Daytona over sub c by far, having said that, sub gets more wrist time, it's more daily wear watch.

Every man should own a Submariner. The Daytona is a acquired taste. Wears too small for me but does look better on smaller framed men and women.
