I've been cutting my own hair since I was 19, more than 32 years ago.

I did it last week. Kind of fun actually. I haven't touched the top yet, but I gave the sides and back a #2 fade up to the part. As others have mentioned, the back is hard. I don't have a handheld mirror so I was trying to use my phone's camera as a guide, lol! Oh well, who cares if it looks like crap. I can always bear a ball cap until I can get a proper cut again. I was actually thinking of buzzing it really low, but I haven't worked up the courage yet. Maybe I'll have some whiskey tonight and give it a go!

I've been having my wife do it for years. She has heavy duty clippers for grooming the horses' manes and forelocks. She simply changes the blade and gives me a buzz cut while sitting on the patio.

I cut my own hair. I really would not want a haircut at a barber in these times. Stay inside! Order some clippers online if needed.

Yes, I clipper cut my own hair last week for the first time. You keep now the old saying about the difference between a good and bad haircut? About 7 days , it’s true

On another note I read today that the world will have 80 % less blonde ladies in 3 months

A bottle of whiskey, some hair trimmers, a 'phone and a handheld mirror.
Can't see a problem there. Good luck my friend!

Sham Wow guy was Vince Offer...

The pitchman for absorbent towel ShamWow was caught up in a sex scandal when he beat up an alleged prostitute and was arrested in 2009. In September 2013, Offer announced a new cleaning product as a comeback from his charges -- a cleaning product titled "InVinceable."

And Billy Mays.

Famous for his TV commercials for OxiClean, Orange Glo and Kaboom, the 50-year-old salesman died of a heart attack in 2009. A toxicology reports found evidence of cocaine use that was a "contributory cause of death."

I think I'm going to go full Mohawk today. More entertaining on all of my zoom meetings. It's not like I'm going anywhere.

Periodically trimming the sideburns and around the ears, but otherwise gonna left it grow. I'm 52 and blessed with a full head of hair so no clippers for me!

I've been doing it for almost 15 years now, a good set of clippers and beard trimmers are all you need. Now does my hair look like I went to the budget barber every time, probably. But I've never had any one mention to me that it looked bad, they are usually surprised when I tell them I do it myself.

In a few more weeks, yes I will be asking the wife to do her best to imitate a hair stylist and trim my hair. Using a bit of styling gel to keep it tame for now!
Compared to some I went to school with who are bald, I guess having a bunch of long hair isn't a very bad problem.

I usually go a month between hair cuts. Last week I gave up, I couldn't take it anymore. Found a clippers out in the garage. Asked the warden for help. Started with a no guard for the back and over the ears. Then thought a nice fade for the sides and top. What could possible go wrong??? Ended up with a head that looked like I got it stuck in a pencil sharpener. Fast forward five minutes, just had her clip the entire head with a 0. It will grow back, plus the price was right.

been cutting my own hair for 10 + years, basically a buzz cut that the wife unit calls my "chemotherapy" cut.

I use a Wahl professional clipper bought off amazon for $22 that came with about a dozen clipper covers, including one for each ear.

All right, decided to do the top today as well. Here’s the before and after. 2 clipper on sides and back and an 8 on the top. Insults welcome, but will be ineffective. It feels great! Hasn’t been this short in years.
