Alex,
one more question: which is your feeling about the matching of large indices with the watch hands ? In the initial pics the hands look smaller compared to the indices, but on your pics it seems ok. Which is your impressions ? Thanks, Engi |

You're right about the indices /watch hands. I think they look great because even though the indices are thicker with lume in the middle with a little bit of gold around them, the hands are more gold than lume which makes them stand out. When it's dark, the indices glow neatly. |

Thanks Lol-X
I'm still amazed. I can't believe the AD in Cancun got them earlier than many other countries in the world. They had DSSD, the new ceramic Sub SS/Blue face, YG Daytonas, WG Daytonas, YG DDII, WG DDII, etc. Thanks again for all the support and encouragement TRF gives us. |

Simply incredible Alex. I think I was probably one of the first few like you on here who had a deposit down - also a ss/wg - but couldn't bear the wait and took the chance to get one of the last few sea dweller around as it was my 21st last month, and I had been told I could be waiting until atleast September - possibly even December!
I have just got a part time job in a local AD to help me through my final year of study - perhaps I shall be saving for one with staff discount!! |

That watch looks fantastic. I'm not sure how it would look on my arm, but it looks great on you. After seeing your choice, I think I like it the best of all the DJ II configurations I've seen in photos. If I were to buy one, that's probably the one I'd buy. Congratulations! Otto |

thank you very much for your message. It really took me a while (1 hour) to make up my mind and buy it. First, I didn't want to wait any longer. Second, I had never thought about how yellow gold looks on me. Third, I wasn't expecting to pay 2,000 USD more for a TT... but then I was thinking: I deserve this watch ! I like it more and more everyday, I take care of it too much (but it still gets scratches, speciall on the PCL). |

when I read that you had gotten the DSSD instead the DJII I was so surprised because I knew you had wanted it for so long. Last friday when me and my wife were @AD, they had the DSSD and it was the only one catching my wife's attention. She wanted me to buy it but then she tought that it looked as big and massive as my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean (45.5 mm). Beautiful choice. Do you think you can get some pictures of the other DJ II now with your new job? I would like to see other dials. How much would the DJII be in UK? I paid 8145 USD for my DJII YG/SS. |

Thanks for the info. Excellent price that you have paid for as I expected that it should be more. Since I have got all mine in black, can't do much but to go for the black. Consistencey, I like!!! |

Amit,
6,000 US is a great discount. That one here in Mexico is 6792 USD (no tax)... great choice, I love it! Hopefully next year I will buy the WG/SS Silver dial and Arabic numbers. Congratulations! |
