1. The BLNR is very nice. I owned one and about a year later flipped it toward an AP. The touch of blue is great but not really discernible except in very adequate lighting. Outdoors it really shines through. Much like the SS/PT YMI dial.
2. What you see in terms of market saturation or acquisitions on this forum is not reflective of the general population. Not even close. 3. The WIS crowd tends to covet any new model that is different and hard to get. Remember when the new Milgauss was all the rage? Especially the "must have" green crystal. The market on that piece now is soft. They were selling at retail plus initially. Many folks like to have what can't easily be had. Supply will meet demand and the market will soften for the BLNR as well. That is when I will re-acquire one as I miss mine. All said, I think it's a very cool and certainly unique piece. |

I've seen more of the new and old pepsis.
When these upgrade to the 3285 in a few years, then it'll be time. |

It's also a matter of income and having some sense. A 9000.00 watch is far far beyond the means of most people on this planet. And for others, 9000.00 might be the limit they want to spend with respect to having a well financed retirement and enjoying the other fine things in life. I find the BLNR to be an elusive species. I haven't seen one in the Rolex heavy DC area where I'm based nor on any wrists at airports throughout the country or around the world while at work. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm stuck 2000 miles from home with the flu. I hope most of you are with family and friends.

Sorry that you have the flu, being sick on the road is no fun. I spent five days in Athens with a sinus infection, worst layover ever. Get well soon! |

This was a watch I wanted until I saw the BLRO which when presented, I snapped up in a heartbeat. It's beautiful just like the BLNR.

In Colorado Springs I have yet to see another BLNR or a Blue DSSD. It's crazy.

Thanks! The tragedy is I'm junior in seat in base so I've worked every holiday for nine years. First one I've had off in nearly a decade. Oh well, I love what I do and the many many perks outweigh lonely holidays on the road. And I agree. The BLNR is the perfect evolution of the Rolex GMT line. It's perfect.

BLNR Fatigue
Quite the opposite for me, I actually got BLNR fever! Can't wait to get it!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edit: realized this is an old thread, still have the fever.

The only BLNR I have seen in the wild was on the wrist of an E.R. doctor. The man has great taste!

I loved the BLNR, but once I sold it I never looked back.
I don't think I'll ever be without an all black GMT though.

3+ months waiting for mine. Had to pay a very significant deposit with no knowledge of when it might arrive. And I quote "it could be a month, it could be 6 months" and "we don't get told when we get them - we usually get one days notice before a batch of watches land". The AD rang me up around Christmas, and I got excited, but it was to inform me it still hadn't arrived, but did I want a hulk instead? When I said no, which was difficult as that was my 2nd choice (!), and visited a few weeks later, they told me the hulk was sold within 30 mins of me rejecting their offer. So I'm still waiting for my BLNR. They also said they get a "significant" number of calls every day for the BLNR. How true that is I am not sure, but it indicates unless you're on a list, you are unlikely to get one any time soon.
I'd say you're pretty safe with a BLNR and they are in no way flooding the market. I'm sure there are shops around the world with them in the window right now, but they'd be in the minority. Waiting lists most places from what I understand. Still think it's a stunning watch. Have never seen one in the flesh locally, but trying on the GMT2 Pepsi in white gold (which is about 3 times the price here) convinced me the BLNR was worth the wait. |

I seldom see it in the wild not to mention it's still a very UNIQUE piece. Don't get the fatigue itch; you'll regret it later, I know I have... Great watch to be part of a collection.

Have had the BLNR for over a year now. I wear it much more often than my DJII (rhodium with Arabic numbers, Fluted). BLNR goes with suit all week and jeans on weekend.
Not tired of it at all! |

I see DJs and Subs all the time. It's a rare day when I see a GMT and today was the first time ever to see the BLNR in the wild. Guy noticed my GMT and gave me a thumbs up. There it was. Wow what a beautiful watch.
