I have 3 unused bedrooms. I claimed one for me. And, I'm usually the only one home.

Yes, I believe the man has his priorities screwed up or he is self medicating at work.....as he has a home full of beautiful woman(which includes his daughters)and he is playing the basement with his toys. I'm surely stumped and confused!!!

Em, since I am not using pencils for the same purpose you use them(such as 2B and 4B)for...in drafting and my kind of design work I prefer 3H and sometimes I use 2H. I use a very light touch(as to not indent the paper)to set my lines. As for finishing the design I will go back over my work using pigment markers to go over all my lines and will use from 0.1 thru 0.5 depending on the portion of the design I need to express. Hard surfaces such as concrete, fences and buildings I will use 0.3 and 0.5 but for plants I will use 0.1(for annuals and perennials) and 0.3(for trees, evergreens and ornamental flowering shrubs). Now as for my Plant and Material Lists this is really where your drafting skills come in and it will take me between 8-10 hours to do this depending on how detailed the lists are(I'm sure glad my father taught me Drafting). When I'm done I have had clients frame the designs and hang them on their walls.....

Take it easy and I would love to see your art.....Leo

In one of my college art classes, I dropped the paint, it splashed in my eye, and I nearly blinded myself I may be exaggerating a little there Back on topic, the medium I enjoy most is graphite pencil. Specifically 2B and 4B graphite pencils. My specialty is Pencil Portraits, but I also draw the human body with charcoal. And yes, I had to draw countless nude models in my college art classes. Lets just say that was an experience I will never forget, no matter how much I may want to
Oh, I had Drawing I and II as well. I remember those days with the nude models. I was a nervous wreck. Talk about not knowing where to look - but you had to!

I like pencils, too. Charcoal is too messy. I've always admired the artists who could draw an image in pencil that looked as real as a black and white photograph. Just amazing stuff.

You've really piqued my interest - hope you can find some of your work to share with us! I'd love to see it. Your specialty - pencil portraits - does that mean you do portraits of people, or do you do other things as well. Tell us more about this.

Well I've heard enough. I find it in very poor taste that you continue to criticize another member's spouse. I'd noticed it before again and again. In a very quick search of this thread I've found all these criticisms of Lisa's husband, by you and now you even accuse him of unprofessional conduct that could harm his career. What's wrong with you? You attacked me by name last week and I didn't demand an apology as I should have and now you attack Lisa's husband without provocation. You've gone too far.

What is the purpose of the put downs? What do you hope to gain? Do you want to nurture unfavorable feelings between a husband and wife? Is she not safe to come here and express personal frustrations without you piling on unsolicited? To what end? By behaving this way I don't see how you can claim to be her friend. Again, just an evil little manipulator. I think you've gone too far.

Haha! I was just telling Phoebe today I don't care much for humor at others' expense. But these were just too good! Those poor people! Hope they were well compensated for getting pranked like that.

Ah, tell me about garlic scapes! I have some onion ones and am not sure what to do with them. Should I just let them sink to the ground - will they sprout new onions? Or should I cut them off and use like green onions?

Your harvest sounds great. I've picked three banana peppers but the potatoes are looking promising. Patience shall prevail. Also have 4 baby tomatoes. Beet greens - yum. How do you season them?

Whoa, Bill. Whoa just one minute there. I've been pretty open about the ups and downs of my married life. Most of it I joke about and I don't take myself very seriously. I don't believe Leo does, either, for pete's sake. I've never, not once, been bothered or offended by anyone's comments relating to my husband.

Please don't attack Leo. I hate to see this kind of thing. You both are a great asset to this place and nothing here is important enough to warrant getting upset over. We're here to have a good time. Please don't take things so seriously. We've all got our personal struggles, our ups and downs... I come here to be among friends and I think we make a pretty great group. Each and every one of us.

Thank you Lisa, I did not think I had crossed a line or stepped over it by attacking you and your family. Thought we were here to talk, vent, maybe tease a little, and commiserate with each other. If I have offended you I am very sorry for my conduct and actions and would like to think you understand.....

Please take care...Leo

Im going to try A week without dope but I feel like im dying....a women told me she rather give birth 3 times a day than withdraw from a high dose of Oxy (300mg).....the pain is horrible.....
Im going to give up and take 4 Norco's and clonidine to get some sleep.

Dave has to take some pretty heavy meds for his cluster headaches... he says he knows the meds are killing his liver and who knows what else but he can't function without them. Heck of a dilemma.

What was it Dave suggested for you a while back? Wasn't it methadone? Maybe it can't be any worse for you than what you're going through now.
