It didnt take long......

I just ordered my first Pannie strap... it was a daily special on TC so jumped on it.

Do you guys just move the same buckles around? Or do you have lots of extras?

What do you think, girly enough????

The buckles are screw type so you can change them between the straps. You may end up getting an extra one or two just so you don't have to swith all the time.

Some people use the same strap for long stretches at a time, I tend to swith very often. Just today I wore the 88 on the OEM rubber strap and then switched to a black gator to go to a wedding reception. It is like you have many watches in one.

Uh oh, Amanda. Your descent into PAM hell has begun. First you order the watch. And before it's even on your wrist, you are ordering more and more straps for it.

What have these people done to you. I am so sorry this happened to you. I'm sore afraid that you have been totally morally corrupted and it will take a great deal of counseling by our resident shrink to get you back on the right path.

P.S. Nice strap, BTW.

Yes, but IMO, PAMs work much better with straps.

I'm afraid Ed is right. You are on the downhill slide. I'd enjoy the ride if I were you, Amanda!

Nice strap indeed, Amanda. Extra buckles are helpful. One more and I have one for each strap (although I've downsized). Look at the TC website or www.waccex.de for good quality non-OEM buckles. OEM buckles are beautiful, but insane expensive.

No not more and more, just 1 so far.. it was on special and it was one I had my eye so took advantage of the sale

I'll wait till I get the watch before spending any more moola... need to suss out the best type of colours to get myself! Half the fun of these watches is being able to change the look with the strap!

Cool.. It'd make the strap changes quicker I suppose, having pre-fitted buckles. Once again I'll say - I'll wait for the watch before getting anymore!

I have some cowboy boots that would go very nicely with that strap. BTW - Where can I see picks of your new Panerai?

It's hard to get decent cowboy boots in Australia... when I was in New York a year ago I saw the most awesome pair of ladies Justin boots in Iguana.. they were this magnificent dark brown! Kick myself daily I didnt get them

I haven't picked up my watch yet Zeon. It's the PAM 111.. I'll go find a pic to attach here of someone elses... Atomic's got the model before the 111 so he might jump in with a pic of his...

As you might suspect there are loads of places to get great cowboy boots here in Texas; however I picked up this pair of Python skin boots in Puerto Vallarta in 1992. Of course they have yellowed a bit since then......

With a strap like that you need a shirt like Frans's.
