Sub date or no-date

Which one is the Sub LV? Sometime I am a little bid lost with the numbers and symbols

But the main question is: What do you prefer the sub date or the no date?

Lunette Verte... It is the green bezel (Green in French is Verte)
It was released to commemorate 50 years of the submariner.

Personally, I prefer my watches to have a date function. But you need to go with what is essential to you in a watch.

Sub no date is my choice. It's a classic and a real looker.

I first bought the LV, man that green is mezmerising
But I kept being haunted by the flimsy bracelet, lugholed 14060. It`s just an unbeatable classic, so about a year after I was lucky enough to afford getting the 14060m aswell.
I love them both, but for different reasons.
Ultimately it`s you who have to decide, after all it`s your wrist and your money.

I got my biz partner an LV for Christmas, and got my dad a non-date sub for his 70th birthday. ;)

My personal preference is the date version, but the non-date has a very clean look to it and is less expensive as well.

Its all about your own personal preference since you will ultimately wear it. We'd tell you our preference but you may not like it.

My personal preference would be one with a date sine I had the 14060 before and I flipped it for a Sea-Dweller (not a sub date) since I'm not a fan of cyclops.

I know for some members, the cyclops is a Rolex trademark, but to me it doesn't matter so long as it makes me happy.

The question for yourself is this: Will YOU miss the date feature/complication?

Hope this helps!

I've made this one in 2003 whe the LV was released.

I was close to be sued by the magazine, they got a lot of questions about the green rotor. And they want them to send a magazine.

A few months later there was guys that told me thay have seen the rotor at thair AD.

Which do you like more and do you need the date or not, simple really. Best of luck with your decision.

I think I will go for the date because I don't know why but I think that cyclops give some special attraction for me
