local ad authentication ?
hi i have a watch i will authenticate since it comes with no rolex certificate...if i bring it to a local rolex AD ..and they open it and either apparaise it or authenticate it...does the paper they give me back to me as good as a certificate .....

Not sure whether all the ADs offer this service, and I assume at least some of them would charge you for it. Anyway, the general opinion I think is that service papers from ROLEX are practically as good as the original certificate. AD authenications generally have lower status in that respect I'd say. Might depend on which AD it is.

I will likely be corrected if I'm wrong, but think you'll need to take that to a RSC (Rolex Service Center) to get an appraisal (with effectively authenticates that). -James |

Just had my two Rolex's appraised last week at an AD for insurance
purposes. The charge was $80 for first one and $60 for any others. |

stick to the Rolex service center their paper is important as much as the certificate for authenticity
