Does your wife(or significant other)wear your watches
Like a lot of you I am very meticulous with my watches .Not that I dont wear them but I do kinda baby them a bit. Dont get me wrong my wife is awesome . but when she wears a watch she wacks the thing all over the place. She has her own rolex but she just discovered she likes wearing a bigger watch and they do look great on her wrist . She got a big scratch on the bezel of my Daytona at breakfast this morning . She said she was sorry and I know she didnt mean to do it but .......I got use to my 10 month old sucking on my watches when I hold him so will I get use to her wearing them and getting some battle scars on them . I mean watches are suppose to be worn right? So what would you do ?

My wife is not a fan of Rolex. I mean really!!! I offered to buy her one last Christmas and she turned in down so I have to wear my two all by myself.

No. Not yet. But now she looks at and studies watches worn by other men. I do not know where this leads to in the next one or two years! Eventually she may buy a Rolex for herself.

my wife doesnt wear my watches - rolex or not.
I dont mind her wearing them if she wants to. she has her watches and she is too worried that she may put battle scares on my watches. So it is all good with me. |

My wife isn't much of a watch person (even though she's getting a Rolex in March and doesn't know it...hehehe), and my watches would be way too big for her. So, no, she doesn't wear mine.

No.. she does not
She is petite and her wrists are quite a bit smaller than mine, won't fit.
So I bought her a CITIZEN watch charm bracelet and she loves it. She approves of my watch purchases as long as I don't go overboard. But she loves earrings and necklaces. OUCH!

My wife has a Tag she wears daily (got it for her for our 5th anniversary), and will have a vintage Omega Seamaster De Ville (~1962) that I've re-built for her as soon as I get a crown for it.
I've been working the idea of a vintage (birthyear) Date or DateJust for her...we'll see how that goes. She will however need to learn to be a bit more careful...

My wife has taken to wearing my black Explorer II (I haven't worn it in over 6 months) and it looks great. I must say she doesn't take very good care of it. If I did take it back, I'd have to take it to my AD for a good polishing!

Wifee and I share all the time.....makes our collection even more enjoyable. Ofcourse, there are some of her watches that I would never even dare to wear.

Oh, I don't have to be worried about that . She is more careful when wearing my watches, she knows how particular I am and how "careless" scratches would drive me absolutely nuts!

I wouldn't have let my ex g/f wear my watch. :(. Sorry! If you wouldve seen the progressive deterioration of her car over a year, you'd understand why.
Let the ex b/f try it on, for about 4 seconds. Then I had to take it back. I'd really like to share a collection with someone someday lol, but I think it'd have to be pretty serious. |

My wife is not a Rolex fan , I gave her my late mothers SS DJ and never wears it . I offered to buy her a no date sub , and when she tried it on did like it . She has a YG AP royal oak , rose gold Patek "24" and Technomarine .
No joke , the only Rolex for her would be the Leopard . |
