SS jubilee for 1675 GMT questions
Hey there, I have a GMT 1675 SS with a 5mil #. Bought it new in 1980 and some how ended up with a jubilee bracelet with 555 ends which I have discovered, through the knowledge of this forums members, is for a DJ.
I would like to get the correct one with the 550 ends and 50 last link. The bracelet I now have, with a D date has the flat back links. Does the proper jubilee for this watch come with the flat links or oval or both? Are all the oval link bracelets USA and flat Swiss? Any info that will increase my limited knowledge and help me end up with the correct bracelet would be very much appreciated! Thanks. |

trying to answer my own question
Well after lots more reading and some help from stevemulholland3, I have learned that the oval link jubilee, has no # markings on the ends or links.(still don't know if they are USA only ) The "D" link jubilee that came with my GMT,( and some say is a correct fit with the 555 ends )has spring pins that are smaller than the ones that go through my oyster ends and as the spring pins in the oyster are a better fit, I am quite sure as Mike informed me that the D link with 550 ends and 50 end link is the best bracelet for my 1675.
