OMG Fleabay

Even if you are not a Panerai follower, I'm sure you will find humour in this sale.

It's good you did, Amanda....you can never win with e-bay crap. Best thing to do is what I do....just ignore it and never even do a search for it.

Honestly, the only time I actually SEE e-bay is when you guys post links...otherwise I don't give a rat's ass about such rubbish on the internet.

Agree 100%, Amanda. I have NEVER had a sour dealing with eBay. All three of my Rollies were purchased, at great savings, on eBay. And I am a Waterford crystal collector as well, and got tens of thousands of dollars worth of vintage and new Waterford for a tiny fraction of what I would pay for it retail...if I could even FIND it!!!

Do your homework, and eBay is a Godsend!!!

You know I reported the b****rd, but like you said, you can never win with ebay crap. As long as they make money, they dont give a....well you know.

BTW I have a Rolex/Tudor, Sub/GMTExplorer with Asian/Swiss/Canadian movement certified by the SCOS with a aftermarket dial and i got it at a estate sale with no box or papers of course....maybe I should list it ...

Amanda,

I have to agree with you there! If you do your homework then Ebay is a great marketplace for anything you can imagine at usually the best price around, but it is like buying a used car you have to buy based on the sellers rep and feedback you hear from others who have already bought from them right?

I have bought and sold a quite a few items on Ebay and have always found good deals and managed to make a few $$$ as well...

As far as watches go, if you can afford it then an AD is the best way to go, but if you do the research then why not use Ebay?

I bought crap that I don't even need thanks to the stupid blackfriday hype.

Now I have 3 400GB external drive, probably gonna ebay 2 of them as I don't even know what I am going to need them for.

Got myself a shiny new 20inch widescreen samsung LCD. :D

So sometimes instead of returning things that I don't need, I just ebay them.

I see great deals like that, then realize they were someone else's great deals. I got a $699 video camera for $110, now I have three. Sheesh. Join the club!

I don't care of people bashing ebay. If I won 10 million in the Jackpot, I would still buy and sell on ebay. I understand about the site and I understand the AD . The AD loves to charge dealer price. You have to know Rolex with a passion even before ownership otherwise you get tricked. I would NEVER pay an AD full price.
