How often do you wind your watch?

I am a new proud owner of the 183 that has a power reserve of 56 hours. with that said, i don't mind winding the watch in the evening every day before bed, but i wanted to find out from you folks out there if it's better to do it once every 2 days?

to put this simply, do you wind your watch daily or every other day? does the watch work better if it's wound daily? what is Panerai's official stance on this issue?

thx everyone for your thoughts on the matter.

i think its a personal issue to be honest, i believe the watch should always have at least 20% reserve left on power. when wear the 127 i wind it every morning.

I suppose it's just habit from manual winds I've had in the past, but every morning for me.

I do it whenever. Sometime every other, sometimes every day, sometimes when it dies.

Doesn't matter.

I do it every morning, it's like a ritual with coffee.

As others have said, do it whenever...but if the spring is more fully wound, I have heard the timing is more accurate.

As a PAM owner, one of the great things is the ease of winding, compared to say those with a tiny screw down crown.

first thing in the morning when I first put them on (PAM 183 and Speed Master Pro)... I know it's probably just a matter of proper regulation, but my 2 manual wind watches have been the most accurate...

Doesn't heart to wind it couple dozen times before putting on the wrist.

This works for me as well with the 111....

The 190 gets it every Sunday morning when it's coffee and the New York Times...
