pepsi gmt
im deciding between one of these and a dj for my first rolex purchase. lets see some pics of the pepsi! or is it coke?
what is the market price for one of these bad boys now? i did all my rolex research on the DJ and ended up buying something else as a dress watch so now i am starting to consider a sport model |

between a dj and vintage sports model? to state the proposition is to reach the conclusion: GMT all the way.

I'm a Pepsi GMT guy, it's kind of bright when dressing up. The black/red Coke bezel is slightly more under the radar, but not so much like the basic black. Whichever, you'll love it.

GMT's are very nice watches. You won't look back if you find a keeper. Nice 1990's vintage GMT's can be found, complete with accessories and warranty paper, for $3500 - $3800.

If you get the pepsi you can always add the other bezel options.

I wish I had kept my Pepsi GMT. It's by far the one I miss the most. Like Dan said, it's easy to swap out bezels and give it a totally different look too. If you're lucky enough to score a Jubilee bracelet for it, you've got it made.

I posted this elsewhere... But my local RSC manager advised NOT to swap bezels very often as this would wear out the case connection. As a result, I have kept my Coke..a Coke
I would also think you risk gouging your GMT....no??? |

What is a jubilee bracelet? So far my search has yielded only prices of $5000+, not even a full set. Anyone want to sell theirs for the aforementioned 3-3.5? :)

The nice thing about the market being the way it is is that nowadays you can find one that comes with all three bezels for a decent price. Don't have one (yet, maybe someday), but they sure are good lookin' watches. Happy hunting!
