Explorer II in the snow!

Hi everyone,

Seasons greetings! Had my Explorer II for nearly 3 months now and loving it. I wear it every day and only take it off at night and, therefore, it hasn't stopped yet! Reset the time twice and so far it's running at about -15 seconds a week. Got a couple of small scratches on the case side but I'm not bothered. My watch is for wearing not banking. Little reaction from anyone so my Rolex-by-stealth thinking seems to be working (I don't want to advertise it to all and sundry and an Exp II doesn't shout too loud).

Anyway, main reason for the thread is I keep seeing some wonderful photos on the forum and thought I might have a go!

Taken today is sunny, but cold, Scarborough

That is a wonderful timepiece! The white face is just amazing....and, as you have mentioned, very stealthy. Wear it in good health and enjoy!

That's a fantastic picture, Tim. Love the ice bits clinging onto the SEL on the right. Terrific!!

Oh, no, you don`t want it, believe me! We had 50cm of snow here in Belgrade, and it`s bloody freezing!
And traffic is a mess, so I envy you very much!

Icon14 Great photo...

Great photo.

Snowing in West Michigan, about 6 inches on the ground.

Just the type of weather for an EXPII or EXP.

Merry Christmas.

Just how many watches you can comfortably, and confidently, throw into snow just to take a picture of!

This is what Rolex is all about (or some of it, anyway)
