PAM leather straps - water resistant or waterproof?
Hi all...
Does any one know if the original PAM calf leather straps are designed to be water "proof"? Reason I asked is that my brother inlaw bought a PAM recently and was told by his (grey?) dealer that its "very very water resistant". I'm not sure if it differs if the strap is crocodile leather...but on my PAM 000, the straps is very dense and stiff, and certainly doesn't seem to soak up water like my after market Heroic strap. When I splash some water on the Heroic, water stains seep straight into the leather. Any comments?

My advice, do not get it wet, I was in a heavy rainstorm and was very disappointed at how the strap looked the next day. If your gonna be near water use the Rubber.
