Okay, so I wasn't going to say anything about these guys because none of them draw attention to themselves, and are much too humble to want any recognition, and I feared they might not like me mentioning what they did, but I HAVE TO! So forgive me guys, I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate what you have done for me.

Carl (DreamBaby): Carl knows how much I like pens, so without any provocation by me, he sent me a few pens, so I could learn the art of pen spinning. Carl, thank you very much. It's more difficult than it looks!

Bill (Colnago): A while back I saw in the for-sale section some Rolex Cufflinks, but the seller was only selling in the UK. Knowing I couldn't get any, I contacted Bill to see if he had seen the post, just in case he wanted a pair for himself. Bill was not interested in them, but being the great guy that he is, offered to pick me up a pair and send them across the pond to me, which he did. When I asked where I should send the money, Bill refused payment. Bill, thank you so much. I cherish these cufflinks and think about you everytime I put them on!

Tim (train-time): Tim is responsible for my 2 favorite watches in my collection. I bought a Tudor from him a while back, and even though it was not new, it looked it. Tim even put a new Sharkskin strap on it before sending it. Then, he decided to send the "old" Sharkskin strap, and did not want any additional payment for it. It too, looked brand new when I got it. So now I have 2 great looking straps for my Tudor. Then, recently, Tim sets me up with a Breitling at a great price, which I am wearing as I type this. THEN, today, I receive a package from Tim, and it's a polishing cloth for my watches. What a wonderful surprise!. Tim, thank you so much for everything you've done!

I have never been a part of such a great group of people! You guys are the best!

Again, I hope you guys (Carl, Bill, Tim) don't get mad at me for this.

I am starting to think that I am the only person in the TRF world that has never received anything for free

no contests won,

no drawings won,

no lotteries won,

and no one likes me.

Well, at least I don't complain about it.

My nomination goes to Mr. Alan Brill, C.E.O. of Rolex USA for his personal phone call to my ex-AD who tried to screw me over damaging my watch and refusing to pay for the repairs. I NEVER expected the President of Rolex USA to personally call on my behalf.

Thanks guys, but please, PLEASE, this isn't about me. I haven't done anything. This is about the great people on TRF, and I'm just mentioning the few I've had the pleasure to come in contact with. In the short while I've been a member, I have seen such great generosity and caring. And I've seen multiple examples. I've made some really good friends! It warms the heart. I love you guys!
