Quick question about the 233...

I have seen many pics of 233's in books that have "AM" and "PM" listed in the circular seconds hand area at 9 o'clock. However, I have never seen a 233 in person that has this. Was this a certain year of production in which they did this and then discontinued it?

Thanks.

The dot is one of the wonderful things about the 233. Simplicity and symmetry.

I actually prefer the dot over the am/pm, makes the dial look less complicated and simplistic.
