Mont Blanc Lead Pencil?
I am a university student looking to buy myself a nice pen for my birthday that I would have for many more years to come.
I realized that in school I am always using pencils and I do not really like to use pens because I can't erase. I went to go look at Mont Blanc's lead pencils because my dad collects Mont Blanc pens and I love the way they feel. I did not realize that they would be the same price as the pen version, I thought they would be a little cheaper. I was wondering what you guys think of Mont Blancs Lead pencils? Are they worth the price? |

Usually people don't buy MB mechanical pencils. Unless they are Limited editions, they don't fetch good prices in 2nd hand markets.
In terms of mechanics, they are ok. I personally hate the twisting mechanism of MB pencils and would prefer the "pressing the top" approach better as the twisting mechanism requires 2 hands to get the lead out when the "pressing the top" method only requires one hand. BTW, nothing beats the "Perfect Pencil" from Graf von Faber Castell. I really like it. |
