What was Federer wearing?

Any Idea what model Roger Federer was wearing the other night at the Australian Open Awards Ceremony?

During his interview, it looked like either a WG or Platinum DDII.

DJ-II was my guess tooo... Yea its pretty cool, that as soon as he wins..he makes it a point to whip out the Rollie and wear it for the Award Ceremony...In fact I think his mom was also wearing a Rolex...

If only you could have Rolex as your sponsor....

That's two wins in a row that he's worn his DJII! Unless there were some in between that I missed - I just recall the last "what did he wear" debate thread ended up being the DJ II

Man that watch is stunning!

Fed started to wear the DJII at the Wimbledon final in 09, not sure what he wore for the US Open 09...

he would obviously wear a Rolex during other tournments

I think it was a DJ II with silver dial and blue Arabic numbers either in SS or Platinum. Awsome watch to match an awsome tennis player.

yeah...saw the match as well. definitely a djII. on a side note, can you wear a watch while playing? in this case...a non-rubber one? it's funny how he places it in his bag. my guess would be that it's not that comfy playing? although, i usually wear my watch during golf, but tennis , it would probably bother me.

fed wears one when practicing most times but have not seen him wearing one during proper match play.
Justin Henin wears her DJ while playing proper matches.
Its all about personal preference.

I cant wear one playing either tennis or golf or bowling for that matter; it does however, look great on a pool table (effeminately speaking) !

Oh hey, "2" ~ !

Is Andy Roddick still being sponsored by Rolex? You seldom see him flashing Rolexes at Presentation ceremonies..or is it because he doesnt get to as many Presentation ceremonies as Fedex... :)

Old mate Roger is usually a DJ endorser - at least in the mags that come with the FT and WSJ.

The message is you're also classy, succesful, wealthy, masterful, popular and a winner when you wear a Rolex. Talk about the power of advertizing.

On rolex's new website he is wearing the same watch which is in the day date II heading with grey Arabic dial... Could be DDII with oyster.
