Omega have a very similar system in their Ploprof, but it isn't as easy to use as the Glidelock

Doxa has a glide-lock system in the 5000T. The Doxa has been around longer than the DeepSea, and their glide-lock works differently........but same concept. The DeepSea and the 5000T Doxa might have been in development at the same time though.....

Sorry guys, Citizen had a rudimentary glidelock system
since the early 1990's. Citizen divers watches had a simple glidelock system in the clasps going as far back as a 1991 Aqualand classic that I once had. Perhaps even sooner. Although Citizen's design is ultra simple, like Doxa's, it greatly preceeded Rolex. I think Rolex only deserves the credit for refining the glidelock system and for making it REALLY expensive.

The first refined glidelock system was on a Glashutte. Actually, more so than on Rolex - very simple push-button operation.
