Google Street View now worldwide!

I love using the street view in Google Maps, but it was only for parts of the US. Lucky for me, they have expanded and have gone worldwide.

Goto http://maps.google.com and type in an address. Zoom out a little to get a fuller view of the map. Click on the person icon above the zoom bar and drag it onto the map. You will notice some areas turning blue. Those areas have street view. Just drop the person icon on any of the blue areas and you will get the street view.

Hey, Calgary is a city of over a million people, good luck finding me! If anyone wants to come here, I will show them the best sushi place in town, and give them the grand tour of my fair city.

I have a bad history with sushi places - perhaps pizza instead? =]

Very cool, I found my mom's farm on the outskirts of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, but the street view ends just past this, so I can't see the old family homesteads in the rural area.

That's why I love Calgary, ten minutes outside of the city one way is prairies, twenty minutes the other way and you are headed into our beautiful Rocky Mountains. Best of both worlds

I love mountains too, miss them like crazy, it's why my home in MN is on the Mississippi River bluffs, closest thing to mountains around here.

But there is SOMETHING about the prairie, Saskatchewan is NOTHING like Texas. So flat you can see the earth curvature, and in many areas, NO fences to break up the fields of grain; like a waving ocean. It's really something.

Canada is like nothing in the world... Or at least, the parts I have been to!
