Anyone have a jumping hour watch?

Hello all,

I was reading a article about jumping hour watches. They had 25 models or so and many of them seem pretty cool, it is a unique look. I have not seen many threads about them, and until recently did not know they excisted. What are your thoughts about them in general, any paticular models you like? If you have one please post pics!

Thanks

Owned a Gerald Genta Arena Bi-Retro in the past, loved it. Friend of mine obsessed over it for a couple years, so I ended up giving it to him for his 30th birthday. Beautiful watch, takes a bit of getting used to as far as time-telling, but I don't mind unique. This is the exact same one I owned:

the hour is in the window at the top, and the minutes go 0-60, then jump, or 'retrograde' back to zero. Date at the bottom does the same thing. I sort of miss it, since everything I own now is rather traditional.

I picked up a VERY inexpensive 1970's Chalet jump hour off of ebay....I think it was under $20. It's a manual wind, and kinda nifty. I spent more on straps for it than I did on the watch itself. I get a lot of compliments on it since it's unique. I'll post pictures when when I get home from work.....YAY snow day!

JJ's watch skips hours all the time...I don't think it's supposed to, but he never pays attention!

Good to go through all the views expressed so far on the 'jumping hour' watches
