New Guy

Hello from Colorado, Found this forum while trying to decide if I should send the GMT that I've had for 30 plus years to RSC, and if they would still be able to service it. Found some great info to include that it will cost more to service than I paid for it 30+ years ago.

Welcome Vic! You are gonna love this place. Pull up a sheepskin covered chair and jump right in!

30 years, wow. Is it working okay? Is the bracelet stretched at all? If it is running fine a tune-up should not be too terribly bad.

Hi Vic, welcome!
Rolex is still servicing 1575 movements last I heard. If you have a choice send it to Dallas or Beverly hills, both do great work!
Post a pic if you can--love those vintage GMTs!!

As soon as I figure out how to post pix I will. Only things wrong with the GMT are the pepsi bezel has faded and the 24hr hand is off by two hours after a hard parachute landing. Along with the usuall scratches that happen.
