I'm looking at buying the Visconti Opera Element "Water" FP...can someone provide some input about how this pen writes and if $220 is a good deal?

I really like the design of the pen, but found it too heavy for me.

They are well made and well known for their quality.

I recently purchased two Viscontis, an Opera and a Ragtime (both LEs).

Viscontis write very smoothly. They're on the lighter side of pen weights, and for $220, I say that's a very good deal.

I have a Visconti Maxi Van Gogh rollerball and I love it. It is a beautiful pen. I'm sure you will be happy with a Visconti.

Visconti FP's are gorgeous. I had a Honey Almond version of the pen for a few weeks, but again, the weight put me off.
