Some threads and topics just won't die. 3186 market value and "proper" size for a man's watch are two that come to mind.

We have a TON of members, and people coming and going--so lots of folks coming in with a question that was discussed ad nauseum last week, but they weren't there to see it. The regular posters who feel strongly on the subject will always stir the pot back up.

Nothing wrong with the discussion, IMO. It's just the personal attacks that keep popping up that get old.

Many topics are being beat to death and beyond... The last straw for me personally happens to be in the 'Watchout' section. Should be the most educational, productive and informative section of the forum, but at times it turns into a non-deserved witch-hunt.

I can understand and agree with you, Greg. How many times can you be exposed to the same subject matter and not lose patience? A discussion regarding which wrist one wears a watch on can go on and on and on. Really, who cares?

This is exactly why I just stay in "OPEN" now. I mean how many times can you read the same things about Rolex watches.

Greg, rarely things go astray in the watchout section (my favorite section)... I do not think the regular posters there contribute to any 'witch-hunt' mentality. The posts I do not agree with I simply click onto the next thread (or make a childish immature comment... )

Lets face it - it is a Rolex watch forum...Rolex don't exactly change their styles that much, so really there isn't that much that you can talk about them without repeating things over and over.
I personally find the its Wed, Fri, Sat, w/end wrist check threads annoying, because you usually find the same old same old, but I think well it is people just trying to chat about their hobby and fair enough.

I guess the person who posts the thread in the first place. But, yes, it gets tiresome reading the same tripe over and over. Unfortunately, I've found this type of thing to be the same on any forum I've frequented.

Your avatar looks great, Faith. A very warm shot of you and Taffi.

Greg I find it to be exactly that "most educational, productive and informative section of the forum".I see several what I would characterize as Pro sellers here running a business as opposed to the casual selling done by other members in general. Those Pro sellers will get a little more scrutiny if for no other reason than the shear number of transactions they do and the expectation levels they and past buyers have set for them. However I think any problem between buyer and seller should be resolved in private just as the sales are conducted.Only if the two parties can't come to a agreement should it be held out like dirty laundry.

Well, what I'd like to know is.......can I wind my Rolex, or will it hurt it!
