Why did this thread go dead ?

Here was a thread that was started yesterday by a newcomer ..
As always I get very nervous , call it paranoid if you want , when new ones throw these things on the forum . A 1665 . and the typical story : "it might be for sale should I accept the offer bit "
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=115332

So me complete novice started digging a bit and came up with the things you can read , I got one explanation from another member ... did some more digging and came up with another answer . These threads usually tend to go far , but it seemed to have died without any of the experts chiming in . I even ( god forbid ) PMed "the dial master himself ", no answer so far

First picture OP's watch
Second what I thought to be the same watch as OP's given the swissT-25 at the bottom . Where I noticed that the alignment of the P ( perpetual ) under the O ( rolex ) is different .

3rd picture from a "rail dial" on doubleredseadweller website because one member said that the alinement difference was normal because the OP's had a "rail dial" Ok there is indeed a difference on alinement but it is towards the other side and not like the one of the OP's watch .

My obvious question : Is the OP's watch a fake ? was TRF being had again ? Why nobody followed up on that tread that seemed pretty interesting . I found strange that after my indirect accusations the OP never came back on it ?

Thank you very much Orchi , there is sooooo much to learn from you . So all the dials pictured above are genuine Rolex dials . It must be hard job to hack your way trough all of the subtile differences . Unless the watch on the second picture is not original .... I got it from your good friend Robert Maron .
