Deal seems to good to be true...

Im assuming its real... is listed right here on TRF for sale section, but have no idea about Omegas and want to be as close to 100% sure as I can.

It looks pretty well used with a lot of small scratches and some heavier ones on the bracelet, can be seen on the first link on the right side.

I wouldn't just be sending cash/paypal from only seeing one picture of the watch.

If it's not original it's a damn good copy.

Just googled around a bit, the bracelet could be a fake? The 2254.50 I've seen around are on the "Speedy type" bracelet.

It's fairly common to see perfectly good omegas being put on cheap aftermarket (fake) bracelets. I saw many Speedys when I was in Florida in December -09 that were perfectly good, but had fake bracelets on them. I left them, wouldn't touch them. But the sellers admitted (after I asked) that the bracelet was not original.

I'm not saying the bracelet on this IS fake, it just looks a bit odd, as if it was of "lesser" quality. The links seem not very well connected.

Still, the price is good, if everything checks out!

The price is reasonable for the condition but not so low I would have any concerns about its authenticity. Those can be found in new condition for $1200-$1300.

Neither. Omega offered the watch with either one.

2054.50 = Bond Bracelet (the one pictured)
2254.50 = Speedy Bracelet

Less than a year ago I sold my 2054.50(bond) on ebay without a bracelet for $800.
Bracelet sold later for about $200.
Been seeing them to for 1100-2000 now, depending on condition. Bernard Ent. being the high end.

Simply changing bracelets, changes the model. The bond bracelet has a lot of pins that can wear over time. There's also a lot of bushings to hold those pins. That being said, it's still a tough watch.
