You can polish the crystal on this model.
It is plexiglass. I don't think it will accept a sapphire crystal, but the plexiglass looks fantastic when it is polished properly anyway, so I would say you don't really have a problem.

Sorry about the double post. I hope another one doesn't pop up too, but I was having trouble posting from my iphone, so when I got home and didn't see it up, I tried to post a reply again.
No, I guess he is not an AD. Was just looking on the rolex web site and his store is not on the list, but I thought for sure he said he was - oh well. My uncle and mom have been going to him for about 15 years so I don't feel like I am getting ripped off. Anyways, I guess it doesn't really matter this time, but the next one I buy, could be a year or so, it will be from Mayors inside Mall at Millennia. Lol-x You can polish the crystal on this model. It is plexiglass. I don't think it will accept a sapphire crystal, but the plexiglass looks fantastic when it is polished properly anyway, so I would say you don't really have a problem. Would you recommend taking it somewhere to have that done or is it something I could do at home without hurting the watch? Thanks for all your kind words, I just cant stop looking at it. I keep telling my g/f that I just need to know what time it is all day LOL |
